Good to know
This is one of the older buildings in downtown Racine, which has been completely renovated from top to bottom. So, you get the character and feel of an antique building, with exposed brick and wood finishes - but you also enjoy a brand new updates including the kitchen and custom bathroom. This apartment (Apartment 2) is located above a new upscale Mexican restaurant. A LOT of work went into soundproofing the space, but you might hear the "murmur" of a busy restaurant below. The restaurant closes by 9PM most nights, and occasionally at 11PM on weekends in the summer.

Main Street Racine has a collection local shops, restaurants and bars. Most everything you need is within walking distance of the apartment, including the harbor. You can even walk to Racine's famous "North Beach" on Lake Michigan (although we'd recommend driving if you're bringing anything with you). We have a small beach kit in the apartment that includes a couple of beach towels, should you want to visit the beach.
